Nice presentation of some of the new enhancements of Logic Pro X. You will very quickly equip yourself with some new techniques that can be useful to you right away. Such as the enhanced Drummer Track, the new Piano Roll, more Automation features that come particularly handy, Alternatives enhancements if you are an advanced user of Logic Pro, VCA faders, and more. The course runs for less than half an hour and it definitely will be worth your time.

Course is quick and concise. However, VCA definition isn't found in Logic Help, isn't found in the course itself, and had to be looked up on the www - where it was found in reference to Pro Tools. Since the "Define VCA" question looks a bit like a trick question (ie, "Amplification" - or - "Automation" ? Hmmmm) it would be best if this abbreviation is spelled out slowly and clearly - that is - tell us what the definition means -- and why knowing that matters. The VCA concept is related to grouping - so the focus should remain with grouping (however much trivia does underscore (like as a mnemonic) a way to remember the actual point) Did enjoy the course! Now taking the big version

Good stuff. Only wish he would have demonstrated the use of the 2 new automation functions (just tug the fader up and down once each). It stood out to me because this issue with volume automation rendering faders unusable has long been a pet peeve and one which I experienced no less than a week ago. I figured it was purposely left out as a tease to get you into the 10.1 in depth course.
