Combine it with the 8-voice FM synth Digitone and you get unlimited sonic possibilities. In this course, Elektron expert Thavius Beck reveals how to get the most out of these two units by operating them in tandem!

Thavius starts the course by teaching how to connect both machines and properly configure the MIDI and Audio settings to make sure everything works flawlessly. From there, you learn how to sequence your Digitone from your Octatrack, how to mix and match both sequencers, and how to sample your Digitone for sonic experimentation.

Next, Thavius demonstrates how to creatively rearrange the recorded audio with Record Trigs... all in real time! He also reveals tips about using the arpeggiator, resampling FX, creating fills & rolls with Retrigs, how to make an arrangement, and a lot more...

I own an Octatrack and a Digitakt -- while I've explored them both independently this course (even though it's about the Digitone) was incredibly useful unlocking new features of each. There are so many little insights from Thavius that are invaluable, especially around topics like getting midi learn to work. I feel like this course has absolutely unlocked a lot of new ways I can be creative with this equipment. I can't wait to study from more tutorials by Thavius Beck.

another amazing Elektron tutorial by thavius beck! I can't emphasize enough how helpful his videos are for getting into the Elektron universe. I used this video to sequence the A4 from the OT and it was no problem transferring the set up instructions for the DT overt my A4.
