Very very helpful. Learned the basics in no time. From now on, I will maybe use my MPC Bible. Instructor speaks slowly and guides you at a slow rythm throughout the process, so that you won't get lost/confused. I highgly recommend this course for the total beginner and as you evolve, get the 790 page MPC Bible.

This course is a few years old but still a great tutorial on the MPC Live. You can also use this as a tutorial for the MPC X. For someone new to the MPC scene this showed me the structure of the MPC song making concept which was very confusing for me. It shows you how to put all the parts together to come up with a song. I would recommend this to anyone getting just started with MPC hardware. Do not purchase this course if your looking for in depth content on all the features and updates.

This course really helped me figure out the MPC work flow. I was trying to decide between which tool to use for beat making - the MPC Live or the NI Maschine. This video helped me figure out how to use the MPC Live as a standalone really well which made me fall in love with the MPC all over again. I use the MPC Live as a standalone tool when I want to be mobile and light weight and still use maschine in the studio setting when I have time and creative space to be in the studio. It is truly the best of both worlds!!!

Does MPC Live have Midi Echo Out? This presentation greatly help me understand the Basic operation of the MPCLIve I have not yet purchased an MPCLive. So ! I have watched it twice and about to invest in a MPC Live....and these tutorial have really helped me make the decision....Have a few questions if someone knows and would like to point me in the right direction to find the answers .....simple put does it have Midi Echo out. Can I use my Motif XS as a controller and sequence into the MPC and have it send the Midi data back into the Motif XS. and how many midi channels does each midi out send? Thanks, L.
