Course was laid out well, short lessons made it easy to get through as I had to stop several times but picked up right where I left off. Loved all the information this course provided. I learned a lot.

outdated video! looks like a recording from 10 years ago, tape recorders and CR tv screens. This is a bad stuff really.

Very informative but looking for something even more fundamental! Understanding the vocabulary is have the battle. Listened to many segments several times over to grasp concept and spent time doing additional research. I'll revisit the course.

This is a great explanation of some of the confusing terms and ideas that entry-level (and some other) HD video users struggle with. Bit depth, color space, hard drive specs, etc.

This information is very helpful. Before you consider starting even your first project you should watch this lesson.

Absolute "must watch" course before diving into shooting, editing, and output. Larry Jordan does a fabulous job breaking down a complicated subject so that it is simple and interesting to understand.

This is incredibly insightful. The list of formats, color space, bit depth, etc is seemingly endless and learning the difference between all of the formats is a daunting task. This course really helped shed some light on how to choose the best format for a project and rather than saying, "you're in news so you should shoot X and edit Y," Larry lets you make the call by informing you of the differences. I'm the guy who always has to know "why." I learned a lot more than I thought I would. Larry is so well spoken. Great tutorial (aside from the really really cheesy graphics and music).

Excellent Tutorials. Quick and concise, no extraneous jabber. I like that a lot

This answered a lot of questions for me about compression, formats etc which can all be very confusing for the beginner. Very well and clearly presented. Larry is a good teacher and well spoken. The only thing he didn't cover in depth was pros and cons of the various frame rates.

This video is awesome. By looking at the title I thought I did not need the information in the video. I was totally wrong. I learned a lot from this video plus Larry Jordan has very good communication skills. He kept the video interesting. Do yourself a favor and watch this video. It was so good that I stayed up watching the entire thing.
